When modifying waiver templates, you may have noticed a new field called "Container" located at lower left corner.

As its name implies, a container field is a special field that can contain other fields, such as a name field, signature field, etc. You can easily drag and drop other fields into the container field. It can also be treated as an ordinary field, where you can drag the whole container field to adjust its position as well as add multiple container fields to your template.
The biggest advantage of the container field is its ability to add or remove a set of child fields. A container field with a properly set title and default/minimum/maximum count can fit a variety of business scenarios.
Here's a list of configurable items for a container field:
- Description title for the container field
- Default number of field sets to display
- Maximum number of field sets that can be submitted
- Minimum number of field sets that need to be submitted.
- Ability to prevent user from adding or removing field sets
A little confusing? We will help you understand how it works.
Minors
Our customers have always wanted support for minors. Now we can achieve this with the container field. In fact, the default container field is a demo for minors:

Set the "Default" value with the average minor count for your business. In this case, we set it at 2.

Pretty intuitive, right? Customers can also add or remove minor information according to their actual needs.
Better Designed recipe of parent and minor containerSometimes you don't need the parent repeatedly signed the name for every single minor, then you need a better design of your container.
Keep reading to learn how…
Step 1 Add the container filed into the waiver.
Step 2 Move the name of guardian field and signature filed above the container fieldby the move button circled in the picture. Now the guardian name/signature field won't repeat with the container filed if the customers add more than one minor.

Now, you are all set! The container field only contains minor information like name and DOB. Whenever the customers add or remove the container field, only minor information will be added or removed and guardian only need one time signature.
Example of add three minors with one guardian signature in Preview Mode:

Other Scenarios
There are other scenarios that can be fulfilled by the container field. All you need is to customize the title and field inside the container. Here are two more examples:
For pet boarding, you can add fields in the container to capture :
- Name of your dog
- Breed
- Color
- Etc.
For equipment rental, you can add fields in the container to capture:
- Name of equipment
- Duration of renting
- Etc.
Finally, please make sure update your WaiverForever mobile app to the latest version ( >= 2.0.0) in order to use the container field on offline devices.
