New to WaiverForever? This is the guide to help you onboard.
WaiverForever is an electronic waiver platform that helps business owners collect waivers online or via our mobile app.
Before started, we will assume you already have a WaiverForever account and have access to our web console.
In this guide, we will cover 3 major steps:
- Make your own waiver template
- Collect waivers from your customers
- Manage/review collected waivers
Make your own waiver template
If you are newly registered, you will see a default 'Demo waiver' template under waivers page. That is your first waiver template. By clicking into this template, you will see a side menu on the left (if you are using a smaller screen, the side menu is hidden to save room. You can reveal the side menu by clicking the top left menu button). From now on our operations are inside this template's context.
The first thing you need is to go to 'Template Builder' tab, where you can make your own template. A waiver template consists of a waiver title and a list of different fields. WaiverForever provides a variety of fields to help you create a waiver template that meets your needs.
We prepared a tutorial video to help you create your first template.
Collect waivers from your customers
Now we have a new template ready. Time to distribute and collect waivers. WaiverForever provides four major means to collect waivers:
- Mobile app (kiosk mode)
- Online remote-sign link
- Waiver widget that embeds in your website
- Special links for customer groups
Download our iOS and Android app and the new template will be automatically synced to your app. Tablets are ideal for setting up a waiver station in your store. WaiverForever apps can work without Internet. All collected waivers can be uploaded automatically or manually to our server whenever the Internet connection is available.
Turn on off-site signing feature in the 'Settings' tab and you will get the remote sign link and QR code of your template. Add it in your email or on your website to allow your customers to sign from their browsers.
Even better, with your off-site signing feature on, you can use our waiver widget to embed our waiver signing feature into your website. Your customers can sign directly inside your website. Check out the 'waiver widget' section in the 'Settings' tab.
Remember, waivers collected online will show in 'Pending Waivers' tab waiting for your approval before we can process them.
If your business allows booking or reservation, WaiverForever allows you to create groups to collect waivers. Each group will have a special link that will be shared with the group contacts via email. To create a group, go to the 'Request waivers' tab.
Manage/review collected waivers
All collected waivers will eventually show in 'Recently signed' tab. You can find waivers by signee's name/email/phone number or by date range. Click on the record to review the waiver content and download the PDF version.
